To date our Ambassadors have visited 10 schools where 887 children attended these presentations.

"Thank you for coming! It was a great introduction to the classical guitar. Some things you talked about tied in nicely to the topics I discussed in music class." .................................. Caitlin M. (Windlake Elementary)

"A wonderful presentation that was enjoyed by all ages. Evan shared beautiful music as well as interesting information about music and guitars as well as guitar techniques. I am happy to recommend this program to other schools."  ................................................................................. Pamela R. (New World Montessori)

"Sergio was so lovely, thank you for sending him our way! He was wonderful and engaging. He taught us some logistical things like the structure of the guitar, but also told us a short personal narrative about why playing guitar is so important to him. The children were mesmerized."  ... Danielle S. (Tamarack Waldorf School)

"Ambassador had a very positive rapport with the students. They were especially fascinated with the long nails. He was always smiling and positive as he talked about posture, composers, history and his love of music. He introduced the songs to give them different things to think about: home, sad, happy, lonely! He could make the children think and laugh. He gave a very interesting lecture. The students are used to loud rock and roll music. This was an excellent contrast to music they are familiar with. The pieces were short enough that he was able to keep their interest. ................................................................................ Peggy P. (Roosevelt Elementary)

"This was a great school to visit because the kids were very well behaved and very interested in the music. I felt as if they were more focused on the music because it was more familiar to them. The classes were at least 75% Hispanic, so when I mentioned composers names (Francisco Tarrega, Fernando Sor, Jose Luis Merlin) their eyes lit up with recognizing the cultural familiarity. Several said they have grandparents from these countries. Visiting a school with a student population like this, I felt that I connected deeper with the kids and made a greater impact because of these connections."  ........................Jeremy H. (Classical Guitar Ambassador)
